Audit and Accounting Information Systems

The Auditing & Accounting Information Systems program is designed for those interested in pursuing careers in auditing in industry and in public accounting. The primary objective of the program is to develop conceptual and technical abilities, research competence, and communication and human relations skills.

The program of study is designed to provide in-depth exposure to the basic areas of auditing and accounting information systems and to develop competencies in the practical application of these areas of expertise. Students in the program must complete 30 hours of graduate-level course work.

Tax

The Taxation program is designed for those interested in pursuing tax careers in industry and public accounting. The primary objective of the program is to develop conceptual and technical abilities, research competence, and communication and human relations skills.

Juris Doctorate/MACC

The SIU School of Law and SIU School of Accountancy offer a concurrent JD/Masters of Accountancy. Students must gain admission to both programs. See the Graduate School Catalog for further details. You may visit the law school's website for further information as well.
