College congratulates marketing alumna on new appointment

Megawaty Khie (Marketing '93)
SAP announced the appointment of Megawaty Khie as Managing Director of SAP Indonesia. Megawaty will be responsible for the operation and development of SAP's business strategy in Indonesia.
"Indonesia is a strategic market for SAP Southeast Asia and appointing Megawaty will provide leadership and direction to accelerate our growth in this important market," stated Francois Lancon, President and Managing Director for SAP Southeast Asia. "With her extensive experience in the technology sector and knowledge in the business environment in Indonesia, we are in a great position to deliver greater value to our customers and help them to run a better business."
Megawaty has more than 18 years of experience in the IT and telecommunications industry, recently serving as Managing Director of PT Green Energy, a company focused on solar energy. Prior to joining PT Green Energy, Megawaty has held various executive positions in Indonesia and the region during her tenure at Hewlett-Packard (HP).
The last position she held at HP was the Corporate & Enterprise Sales Director for the Personal Systems Group at HP Asia Pacific and Japan. Prior to that, her position was Country Manager for Indonesia where she managed to lead Dell's business to become one of the most prominent IT companies in Indonesia within three years. In her early career, Megawaty also worked at Microsoft Indonesia as Director for Small and Midmarket Solutions & Partners Group.
Megawaty holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Southern Illinois University Carbondale. Currently, she is pursuing a double degree in Executive Master of Business Administration from the Bandung Institute of Technology and Aalto University.
