Registration Process

For your convenience, most business students can complete the entire advisement and course registration process in the Undergraduate Student Advisement office.

  • Undergraduate students register using SalukiNet Self-Service.
  • Students should access SalukiNet to check the earliest date and time they can register as well as their registration eligibility. Holds must be cleared before registration can be completed or courses added.
  • The University requires all students to obtain a Registration User Number (RUN) in order to register for every semester. Students receive their RUN at the advisement appointment for the upcoming semester(s).

Appointments

Our office operates on an appointment schedule, with the exception of walk-in appointment only weeks. Advisement appointments may be scheduled up to two weeks in advance. If something comes up and you can’t make your appointment, please let us know. We can work with you to reschedule.

Walk-in appointments are scheduled during the first two weeks of each semester, the first week of advanced registration, and as posted in the Undergraduate Student Advisement, Rehn 121.

  • Current students can schedule an advisement appointment by calling 618-453-7496 or stopping in Rehn 121.
  • Transfer students with more than 26 transferable semester credit hours should schedule an academic advisement appointment by calling 618-453-7496 or email us at advisement@business.siu.edu. Please let us know you are a transfer student. That will help us customize the information to fit your needs.
