Office of Minority Affairs

The primary objectives of the College of Business Office of Minority Affairs are to enhance the student's college experience and increase the matriculation and graduation rates of currently enrolled minority students by helping them to meet their social, cultural and educational needs.  The Program does this by providing targeted programs and services to enable more minority students (Native American, African American, Asian American, and Hispanic) to successfully complete their educational objectives.

The Office of Minority Affairs not only serves current College of Business students, but reaches out to future Salukis as well.  Through the College of Business Minority Program, qualified minority high school students have an opportunity to participate in the Exploring Careers in Business Week, which is designed for minority students who have a true desire not only to attend but also excel in college. The programs give minority students an opportunity to learn about different professions and expose the students to some of the core areas of Business required at the college level.
