A trip down memory lane that features four alternate endings, along with three full-length stage readings from graduate students, combine for an enchanting four days provided by Southern Illinois University Carbondale’s theater and dance programs this week.
A Southern Illinois University Carbondale team has launched a 2-year project to help educators around the state find effective ways to help students with disabilities and behavioral concerns stay in school rather than face disciplinary action such as suspension or expulsion, thanks to a $5.841 million Special Education Behavior Assessment Training (BAT) Project contract with the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE).
Ashley Lester, a lecturer in the visual arts program at Frostburg State University, will present a lecture at Southern Illinois University Carbondale on Thursday, March 23.
Southern Illinois University Carbondale strengthened its commitment to students in eastern Illinois on March 13 with an agreement to bring the expertise of a doctoral research university to qualified community college students by providing the option to earn their bachelor’s degrees remotely and at a lower cost in 10 academic programs.
