Numerous forms of financial aid are offered through the University and through the College of Business. These include scholarships, fellowships, assistantships, and loans. More information about all of these can be obtained through the Graduate School.
The College of Business offers approximately 20 assistantships to highly qualified students. A 50% assistantship requires that the student work 20 hours per week with a designated College faculty or staff member. In return, the student receives a monthly stipend. The assistantship also covers student tuition (up to 15 credit hours per Fall/Spring semester and 9 credit hours for the summer, students are responsible for tuition charges over these hour limits).
The placement of assistantships is based on the recommendation of the MBA Coordinator and the final approval of the Departmental Chair.
To be considered for a College of Business Graduate Assistantship please submit your resume and cover letter to firstname.lastname@example.org Only admitted students will be considered for graduate assistantships. Please do not send your application materials until you have started the application process.
Additionally, there are assistantships available at other locations on campus. You can check for openings here: http://gradschool.siu.edu/cost-aid/ga/job-posting.php

- You had at least a 3.5 GPA in the last 60 hours of undergraduate coursework from a AACSB acredited business major in which you were conferred a bachelor's degree.
