MBA alumnus named CFO of Siniat France

Frederic Gaillot, 1998 SIU MBA alumnus

Frederic Gaillot, a 1998 SIU MBA alumnus, has been appointed Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Siniat France.  Gaillot also earned a master’s degree in Management from Grenoble’s Ecole de Management, the College’s partner school in France.

Siniat France is one of the leading European providers of solutions and building systems using plaster. Based in Avignon, with 4,200 employees in 13 countries, it is a company of fully integrated building materials. They offer ready-made high-quality solutions and occupy a prominent place in most product lines and markets.

Prior to this position, Gaillot worked within the French Embassy in Jordan and Euro RSCG in Prague, before joining General Electric.  From 1998 to 2013, he assumed financial responsibility in the medical sector in Paris, London, Sydney, Tokyo, and Shanghai, and the oil industry in Thermodyn.  In 2009, he joined the global headquarters in Florence to take over financial management of the Department of Mergers and Acquisitions.

According to company officials, Gaillot’s experience will help to ensure rigorous management to support the ambitions of profitability of the company in France.
