Dr. Heath Keller currently teaches courses in management fundamentals and strategic management. Heath earned both his bachelor’s (B.S.B. Marketing) and master’s (MBA) at Murray State University. His Ph.D. was earned at Southern Illinois University in Business Administration with major areas in organizational theory/strategy and management information systems. His primary research interests are institutional legitimacy and resource dependence, especially in the context of higher education. Heath’s most recent research has focused on the perceived legitimacy of online business degree programs. Prior to pursuing the Ph.D. at SIU, Heath was the first Online Programs Director in the College of Business at Murray State University where he was responsible for the development and implementation of online programs in business administration and telecommunications systems management.
