Previously, held positions in Engineering, Operation, Manufacturing and Logistics with AT&T, General Foods Corporation and S&D COFFEE, Inc. a national, international manufacturing sourcing, product and market development firm.
James R. Raines (1970 BS Administrative Science - SIU)
President, Owner and Founder

At the time of induction, Baines served as president, owner and founder of Prairie State Packaging, Inc. He was also president of Pi Sigma Epsilon. The entrepreneurial bug bit in 1984 when he started his own corporation.

After receiving his law degree and being admitted to practice in 1970, Schoen's first assignment was with the law office of Medlin, Zimmer & South. He started his own practice with FSMG in 1977.

Paul L. Conti (1974 MBA - SIU)

At the time of induction, Conti served as regional director of operations, great lakes and consulting group at Ernst & Young. He previously held roles as a vice president of COMSI, Inc., director of human resources for Rand McNally and Company, and CEO of Prestige Management Services, Inc. Conti was the first MBA President in the 95 year history of the SIU Alumni Association.
Daniel E. Finke (1967 BS Management - SIU)

Finke has been a tremendous supporter of College of Business students by sponsoring externships and assisting with class projects and case studies. At the time of induction, Hall served as president and CEO of Farmers State Bank of Illiopolis. He rose to the rank of captain while serving in the U.S Air Force between earning his two degrees at SIU Carbondale. Since completing his MBA, he has held positions of vice president at the Bank of Carbondale, the Bank of Charleston and the Farmers & Merchant’s State Bank of Virden.

Darrell J. Olson (1968 BS Management - SIU)

At the time of induction, Olson served as vice president-employee relations of MIRRO Corporation, A Division of the Newell Company. Previous work experience include positions as the senior vice president of human resources from the CRM Corporation. In 2009, he founded his own firm, the Darrell Olson Consulting. In 1991 he was awarded the Newell Achievement Award.
George A. Peach (1964 BS Management - SIU)

At the time of induction, Peach had been elected four times to the office of St. Louis Circuit Attorney. At the time, he had held the position longer than anyone in the city's history. After attending SIUC and before completion of his law degree from St. Louis University, Peach worked at Brunswich Corporation as an employment manager and for the Chrysler Corporation in labor relations. He has also served on the College of Business Dean’s Advisory Board.
Donald W. Wilson (1967 BS Accounting - SIU)

At the time of induction, Wilson served as vice chancellor for Financial Affairs and Board Treasurer at Southern Illinois University Carbondale. Wilson also served in the SIU President’s Office and the Board of Trustees as Vice Chancellor for Financial Affairs and Board Treasurer.

Kenneth Pontikes (1963 BS Marketing - SIU)

At the time of induction, Pontikes served as president of Comdisco, Inc., a company he formed in 1969 when the used computer market was virtually non-existent. Comdisco then became one of the world's largest firms in its field. His $1 million endowment has made possible the Pontikes Center for Management of Information.

At the time of induction, Sauget served as president of Sauget Properties, Ltd, a firm he founded in 1974. From 1965 to 1966, he was associated with Dow Jones, Inc. and conducted market analysis studies. His side-line business of constructing buildings for resale merged with Metrix, Inc. in 1974.
