At the time of induction, Curry served as director of product support for Perkins Engines Company Limited since 1999, a subsidiary of Caterpillar, Inc. He wrote the strategy outlining the approach Caterpillar and Daimler/Chrysler needed to take regarding parts and service aspects of the Engine Joint Venture.

At the time of induction, Fenwick served as partner and co-founder of Fenwick & West after having earned a law degree from Vanderbilt University in addition to his marketing degree from SIU Carbondale. He has represented numerous clients before federal and state legislative committees, including Apple Computer and the Smithsonian Institute.

At the time of induction, Hyden was recognized for her services at Southern Illinois University Carbondale. Beginning as a staff auditor in 1980, she was promoted to vice president for financial services in 2000 and held the position until her retirement in December 2003. She also served as treasurer on the SIU Board of Trustees.

At the time of induction, Levan served as vice president of human resources for Shell Oil. He began his long and distinguished career at Shell in 1966 as a labor relations analyst at the company’s Wood River, Illinois refinery. Levan has remained in labor relations and personnel management throughout his career.

At the time of induction, Schroeder served as president of Weiser Lock Company. Previously, he has held several top management positions. He was president of the two American Brands Office Products companies Data Forms and Acme Visible Records and served as executive vice president and chief operating officer for the Wilson Jones Company.
