The Office of Diversity and Inclusion is your partner in navigating the College of Business and Analytics, helping you stay on track academically, connect with your community, and make the most of your time at SIU.

Student Success

We work alongside your academic advisor to support students who are academically at-risk or navigating challenges, whether that's coursework, housing, or other personal circumstances, that can get in the way of doing well and growing as an individual. Advisors are always your first point of contact and the first to reach out if you're flagged as at-risk; our office steps in directly when a student can't be reached, to make sure no one falls through the cracks.

Student Engagement

We co-lead the Dean's Student Advisory Board (DSAB), a group of students representing the College of Business and Analytics. The board amplifies student voices, co-creates solutions to improve student experience, and strengthens community across the college. Throughout the semester, the office will host popup social events, such as Walking Tacos, Popcorn Day and much more. Keep an eye!

Saluki Opportunities Awareness Residency (SOAR)

Each summer, we host SOAR, an overnight camp for high school juniors and seniors interested in exploring business fields. Campers build financial literacy skills, take part in team-building activities, and get a firsthand look at the opportunities SIU's College of Business and Analytics has to offer.
