 The College of Business and Analytics Career Closet was established in 2016 with a goal to dress our students for success. Available exclusively to College of Business and Analytics students, the Career Closet offers an array of professional attire in a wide range of sizes and styles.

As of early 2024, over a thousand students have utilized the Career Closet, with more than 2,200 clothing items checked out since 2016. 

Students utilizing the Career Closet may borrow complete business suits or pieces to complement their outfits, selecting from professional business attire appropriate for numerous business functions, including interviews, business dinners, professional meetings, and career fairs. 

The Career Closet accepts donations of new or like-new business clothing, including suits, dress shirts, and blouses of all sizes, and accessories, including ties, belts, dress shoes, and handbags. To donate clothing items, please contact placement@business.siu.edu or complete the Career Closet Donation Form below.

The Career Closet is accepting donations of new or like-new business clothing in all sizes, including:

Sponsorships

Your financial contribution allows the College of Business and Analytics to purchase supplemental items and care for pieces in our collection, ensuring a wide selection is available for students.

  • Suit Package Sponsor - $250
    • At this sponsorship level, your gift goes towards a professional attire package, which includes a business suit, shirt and tie (men), shirt and accessory (women), and a pair of shoes.
  • Suit Sponsor - $100
    • At this sponsorship level, your gift goes towards the purchase of a business suit.
  • Professional Attire Sponsor - $50
    • At this sponsorship level, your gift goes towards the purchase of one article of professional business attire.
  • Dry Cleaning Sponsor - $25
    • At this sponsorship level, your gift goes towards the cost of one garment bag and dry cleaning service.
