Visiting the College of Business and Analytics' Rehn Hall 

Your visit to the College of Business and Analytics (CoBA) is designed with you in mind. We understand that every organization has distinct goals, priorities, and talent needs, and we are committed to creating a personalized experience that ensures your time on campus is productive and rewarding. 

Whether you are seeking to connect with students, interview top candidates, or build your employer brand, our team will collaborate with you to make it happen. We can: 

  • Arrange private on-campus interviews 
  • Coordinate classroom visits (with faculty approval) 
  • Host Employer Spotlights or Meet-the-Firm events 
  • Provide a recruitment table in Rehn Hall for high-traffic visibility 
  • Feature your opportunities on our CoBA-specific job board 
  • Help you build brand awareness among our talented business students 

On the day of your visit, you will receive a complimentary parking pass and access to a private space where you can conduct interviews, meet with students, or take a break between sessions. Our dedicated staff are here to support you every step of the way, and our students are eager to learn more about your organization, culture, and opportunities.

Internships

Partner with SIU’s College of Business and Analytics Internship Program

Internships provide students with meaningful, hands-on experience while offering employers motivated talent ready to contribute. CoBA works closely with employers to connect qualified students to internship opportunities that align with their academic and professional goals. Many organizations find that hiring interns reduces recruitment costs and strengthens their future talent pipeline.

To qualify as a CoBA-approved internship, the experience must:

  • Extend classroom learning with practical, transferable skills.
  • Include a clear start and end date, defined responsibilities, and learning objectives.
  • Be supervised by a professional in the field who provides mentorship and feedback.
  • Provide the necessary resources and structure to support student learning.

CoBA Connections

  • Partner with SIU’s Extern Program

    For over 40 years, SIU’s Extern Program has connected more than 4,000 students with employers nationwide for a one-week, hands-on career experience during spring break. Students apply classroom knowledge in real-world settings, gaining professional insight and developing career readiness skills.

    Hosting an extern offers employers a meaningful way to mentor emerging talent, showcase their organization, and identify potential future interns or employees—with no long-term commitment or cost.

    Open to juniors, transfer students, and graduate students, the program is coordinated by the SIU Career Development Center in partnership with the College of Business and Analytics.
