Registration Process

For your convenience, most business students can complete the entire advisement and course registration process in the Undergraduate Student Advisement office.

  • Undergraduate students register using SalukiNet Self-Service.
  • Log into SalukiNet to check your registration eligibility and the earliest date and time you can register.
  • Holds must be cleared before registration can be completed or courses added.

The Advisement Office operates by appointment, except during designated walk-in weeks. Advisement appointments can be scheduled up to two weeks in advance. If you are unable to attend your scheduled appointment, please inform us so we can arrange a reschedule.

Walk-in weeks are the first two weeks of each semester, the first week of advanced registration, and as posted in the Undergraduate Student Advisement, in Rehn Hall, room 121.

  • Current students can schedule an advisement appointment by calling (618) 453-7496 or stopping in the Advisement Office.
  • Transfer students with more than 26 transferable credit hours should schedule an academic advisement appointment by calling (618) 453-7496 or emailing us at advisement@business.siu.edu. Be sure to let us know you are a transfer student.
