Freshman Application Checklist

A completed application for admission and scholarships.
A $40 non-refundable application fee. Application fee waivers are available to students who meet certain income requirements. Please refer to the fee waiver form for further information.
Current, official transcripts from each high school and college you’ve attended. All transcripts must be issued within the last 30 days and be contained in official sealed envelopes or sent through an electronic transcript system. Partial transcripts for admission purposes can be submitted via email by the school counselor. A final high school transcript will be required upon graduation and completion of all high school course work.

Transfer Student Checklist

A completed application for admission and scholarships.

Returning Students

If you previously attended SIU Carbondale, your original records and SIU work is already on file. If you completed additional coursework at another college after leaving SIU, you must send an official transcript from each college attended since leaving SIU. Please send college transcripts to:

Change of Major

Visit us at the College of Business and Analytics. Make an appointment with your advisor to discuss your desired major. Your advisor will process a Change of Major form and notify you of your admission status.
